Desde el punto de vista del alumno, entiendo que prefieran a un profesor.  Y yo pregunto… ¿Por qué?  Puede parecer obvio, pero alguno pensará: cada vez nos gusta más a todos usar el ordenador en nuestro tiempo libre, en nuestro trabajo, no únicamente porque estamos obligados a usarlo, sino que nos gusta. A la gente, por ejemplo, parece que no les importa leer el periódico por el ordenador, o dispositivo móvil; ya no escucho tan a menudo “prefiero el olor del papel”.

Seguro que si miras tu jornada diaria, laboral y personal, podrás ver claramente como tú mismo has cambiado ciertos hábitos, y que ya sale ganando la tecnología, cuando no hace mucho seguías prefiriendo muchas experiencias por otros modos. Entonces, vuelvo a preguntar ¿por qué no sucede esto con el aprendizaje de idiomas?
Porque no debe suceder. Creo firmemente que no se debe olvidar el valor de un buen profesor y de un buen profesional.

Los cursos online, la tecnología, los ordenadores, las tendencias del mercado…, todo puede cambiar muy deprisa. Es tan fácil que algo se quede obsoleto…, pero cuando estás tratando con un profesor y sabes que hay una persona detrás de tu formación, sabes que todo irá mejor.
Esta persona podrá adaptar la metodología, asegurar que veas lo que hay que ver, preguntarte si todo va bien, si sientes que estás avanzando…

Creo que es importante tratar con personas. Si claro, que empleen las tecnologías acoplándolas a nuestro caso particular. En la educación, cada caso puede variar, pero son las personas las que van a poder mejorar la experiencia y hacerla más gratificante, así como conseguir una mayor rapidez en el aprendizaje, y, por lo tanto, al final, que economices mejor tu tiempo.

The Importance of Services in E-Learning

The majority of people prefer learning in an actual classroom to learning on their own, in front of a computer.

From a student’s point of view, I understand that one may prefer a teacher. So I have to ask myself, why?  It may seem obvious, but the idea stems from the concept that nowadays, without any apparent obligation, we use the computer more and more in our free time, not only for working purposes.  We use the computer because we want to.  In the past, people resisted reading a book or the newspaper on the computer – not anymore.  I have not heard that comment for quite a while (“I prefer the scent of the paper”).

I’m sure that if you look closely at your daily routines, both personal and to do with work, you can easily see where technology has won the battle.

So, I ask again, why isn’t this the natural tendency with language training?

Because it shouldn’t be.  I firmly believe that one should not forget the value of a good teacher and a good professional.

The online courses, technology, computers, market tendencies…, it can all change very quickly.  It is so easy for any of these factors to become obsolete.  If you are dealing with a good teacher, and you know that there is a person behind your training, you know that everything will be fine.

This person can adapt the methodology and ensure that the student sees what the student should see.  A professional asks you how everything is going, and as a student, you feel that you are advancing.

I believe that it is important to deal with people, and if they employ technology to their students’ advantage and adapt it to individual needs – fantastic.  In language acquirement, every case may vary in necessities, but it is people who are going to improve upon the technology and ensure a gratifying experience.  This allows each student to learn at a quicker pace, and in the end, economize his or her time.
